Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative announced Sammi Nunez as the newest addition to its communication team. As the digital marketing specialist, Nunez will oversee social media strategy and digital marketing efforts for the cooperative and its affiliate organizations.

Nunez received her bachelor's degree in communications from Hope College. In her previous role, she created and maintained partnerships with businesses and schools, oversaw social media and website accounts, increased brand awareness in the community, and coordinated events. These skills and experiences will align well with her new position at Edge.

When she’s not at work, Nunez enjoys many outdoor activities, from swimming in the summer to snowmobiling in the winter. She is also passionate about traveling.

“I’m extremely happy to be a part of the Edge team,” Nunez said. “I’m proud to be able to utilize my expertise to support dairy farmers and all those who are a part of the dairy community.”

Edge’s CEO Tim Trotter says Nunez will amplify the cooperative's continued growth in digital marketing and communication efforts.

“Digital communications, through our social media platforms, websites and email messages, are a large part of how we’re reaching our members and allied businesses of Edge and our affiliate organizations. And, we strive to keep advancing that,” Trotter said. “Nunez will be an excellent addition to our team as we expand our efforts in this area.”
